Any one watch Monster house. During the show they take a normal house and transform it into a monster, something over the top and beyond beleif. They are themed houses like Family vacation or the old west house. Well how about a Monster Gun House!

Any ideas? I have a few.

1. A walk in gun safe/vault that looks like a Cabela's Gun Library.
2. A fully equiped safe room.
3. An indoor gun range. Which doubles as both a fireing lane range and a Hogan's alley. The Alley would be a movable backdrop thus allowing the same backstop to be used for both. It would also be Lead free with good ventilation for less hassel.

I have some more ideas, but what about yours?

Pillboxes with Browning .50s for salesmen, JBTs, and Jehovah's witnesses. :D

Indoor range minus hogans alley (a bit dificult to accomplish) but there would be a FATS room so the hogans alley isn't all that necessary :)

It would also have a walk-in humidor, wine and whiskey cellar, and beer cooler. It would be the house that Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms built!

Incidentally, Art already has the ideal gun house. It's a pretty standard house, as I understand it, but surrounded by so much desert he has to build his own roads. ;)

Kind of on the subject, did anyone catch The Sopranos tonight? Carmella had an AK, a 1911 and a hand grenade:eek: hid in a locking column kind of thing in their living room. That was cool.

I think the ultimate monster gun house would have to be an old missile silo complex.

Don Gwinn, you forgot the magazine for the explosive division.

I like the idea of a gun library. You also need a "pattern" room so you can study (fondle) the pieces.

Saw this photo of a chair made by some "artist" in Africa. It was made from AK-47s and the buttstocks were used for the two armrests. Barrels were used for the legs. Rather clever and I wouldn't mind having a set of those chairs. Of course, I'd rather have the operational guns but since we're talking "Monster Gun House" you might as well have Gun furniture. How about a Brown Bess lamp with a light socket sticking out of the muzzle or a coat hooks at the door made with bent triangular bayonets? Picket fence could be like Bannerman Island with barrelled actions poked into the ground.
