The sad thing about the MSNBC television tabloid entertainment show is that they have a loyal following of mushrooms who are kept in the dark and fed horse manure.

Did it ever occure to these so called "News People" that after the Obahma people dismantle the 2nd amendment that the 1st might be next? Or the 3rd? Or the 5th?

Martin Niemoller's "First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist" etc. only made sense in hindsight.

The majority of the people working in our info-tainment industry are not gun owners, and they don't believe the 2nd Amendment is the canary in the coal mine or the first domino that can end in them coming for freedom of speech, assembly, religion, or anything else. And they'll probably fight realizing it (or the business interests who own them and their voices will edit them) as it happens and America as it is understood today and was understood in years prior goes down the drain.

I think either my television or my glasses are defective because whenever I watch just about ANY news program I keep missing the tiny letters that state THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN PREPARED UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE NATIONAL BUREAU OF GOVERNMENT INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL AND HAS BEEN RATED ACCEPTABLE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DISINFORMATION AND BIG SIS!

Take heart; I noticed last week that the "gun control" tab on CNN's homepage is no longer present (usurped by Sequestration or some such nonsense, I'm guessing). Good riddance; Though I always got a kick out of the 12+ linked op-eds raving about the evil of guns and the NRA, and (maybe) one actual gun-related article about an actual event (a murder, of course). Seems like CNN has given up flogging the horse--well, at least as much as they had been with Piers and whatall a month back.

Yikes! I was just trying to say , by way of kidding a bit, that most Alphabet Channels come across as being part of a Government - Media complex and that the "News" they tell us only is only what the government wants us to know in an attempt to steer our thinking into lines that benefit the current regime! In other words they have become propaganda outlets, not independent journalists. It is censorship, whether government imposed or media imposed. :banghead:
