Ok fellas I have narrowed down my search for my first AR15.

What do you guys think? Considering price, quality, ect.

Its either...

Del-ton's: 16" DTI Mid Length ($750) http://www.del-ton.com/DTI_16_Carbine_Rifle_p/rfth16-0.htm
---------------plus A2 handle($825)
comes with. case, two 30rd mags, sling, and cleaning kit.

or

RockRiverArms: Tactical Operator ($995) http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=399

comes with. two 30rd mags, case, choice of rear sight and mount.

Go with the Del-ton but skip the carry handle sight it is not as versatile as a set of flip up BUIS like Magpuls for like 45 bucks. If you want a carry handle get an A2. In my opinion having owned both Del-Ton and RRA I think they are both of similar quality, I say just get which ever one is cheaper and toss a BCM bolt and carrier in it with a H buffer or you could just get a BCM, unless the rifle is just for occasion.

The non chrome lined 16 in I had shot about 4 inch groups at 100 yards with the 4moa Aimpoint I had mounted on it can't ask better than that in my opinion.

My favorite midlength is a BCM BFH model

Between the two you mention I would take the Del-ton

I have experience with both and I can say with out a doubt that if you buy a dt and then you get a chance to shoot a RRA you will be very dissapointed in your DT. They are just not near the quality of the RRA. My chrome lined RRA can shoot circles around my buddies DT. I sighted both rifles in on the same day and there was a massive difference in groups and functionality. They both work, but the RRA is more of a rifleman's rifle and the DT is just a semi auto .223.

RRA is True Quality

I own 4 EBR products: 3 RRA and a S&W M&P15. The RRA is a high quality product and shoots like a dream. Delton are good, but no comparison to RRA IMHO.
