How much accuracy do you need for close-range defense with a pocket pistol?

I think it's an unnecessary solution to a non-existent problem.

I bought one for the 380 but it also fits the 32.

Whether or not you think you need one is up to you but as an experiment I had a friend shoot my 380 without the laser. Empty the magazine, aimed rapid fire from 10 yards as if he was trying to stop a BG. He got a few good hits.

I installed the laser. Same drill except looking over the gun at the laser dot. All good hits in a few inch group.

In a 32 or 380 you want every possible shot to hit. The laser does a good job of insuring this.

I'm a believer in (good) lasers when used in their element.

This one has a few problems.
No adjustment.
It's a little bulky.
Expensive.
Finger placement is somewhat awkward and takes getting used to.
Battery replacement may be a little problem.
Laser isn't very strong. (The Crimson Trace laser is very bright.)

I've had one on my P-32 for about 6 Mos. Don't like awkwardness of adjusting the point of impact (have to adjust mounting screws on the device) and, yes, it's not as strong as many.

OTOH, it breaks up the outline of the weapon, so it prints "wallet" in my rear pocket, rather than "gun." With the almost total lack of sights on these litttle monsters, and the fact that mine points way below my natural point of aim, I'm very pleased with mine. Would let me take a head shot up to 15 yds if necessary -- something I wouldn't have even thought about trying before I started using it.
