New NAA Product Release

I wouldn’t mind NAA reviving the H&R/IJ non-swing cylinder double action pocket wheel guns…. seems a logical next step… or something like the early spur trigger centerfire fixed-cylinder
NAA bringing back the top break design, a design that had been dropped decades ago, shows they're interested in looking back in history to see what could be useful in mini revolvers today. I don't think the non swingouts would be popular, people would just view them as larger double action versions of the NAA. Every double action revolver made by a major manufacturer for decades has been a swing out cylinder, you reveal something that's a non swing out at SHOT and it's going to be laughed at.

Unless it's a very light gun that could be carried as a backup to a primary handgun, it's a tough sell.

But, what the NAA rep said, it's going to be a "combination of two favorites" and something that's been requested for a few years. I could see it being an upscaled pull pin .32 ACP in either single or double action because for some reason people think .32 ACP is better than .32 S&W Long wadcutters.

For me, it’s just the max pressure spec. Buffalo Bore’s loadings for these two cartridges are pretty close to the same performance. Plus, if you tell people it’s chambered for .32 S&W long, it’ll need to be a long enough cylinder to chamber all the bullet types.

You tell people it's for .32 Long wadcutters. It's not like it would be the first gun ever made specifically for shooting .32 wadcutter.

If I was in the management meeting on S&W Long wadcutter vs. all S&W Longs in a revolver, I’d be against a short cylinder gun that wouldn’t chamber all common S&W Long cartridges.

Market share of a modern .32 Long self defense revolver would be so minimal, I wouldn’t want to produce a gun with an even smaller group of potential buyers.

I know when I look up .32 Long ammo on ammoseek, the most prevalent type I usually see is round nose lead ammo.

When I think about it, I’d guess 5% of gun forum members would actually plunk down the money for a mini .32 Long revolver. Which means this revolver wouldn’t be a common gun offered in gun shops.

Better to offer it in .32 Auto

What was that?!? I'm on the edge of my seat! (Figuratively) I can't find anything...

Are you lookin' for this, or something else?

That is the biggest let-down in the history of let-downs… outside of my (m) ex (f) cheating on me with another woman 🙄.
