Wow, that thing looks awesome! I can't imagine how much fun it would be to put .22's right on the money with that much scope to watch it happen. I personally never have so much fun as with a scoped .22 nailing stuff, because you can retain the sight picture and enjoy it. Getting blown off the target by recoil just isn't as fun; may be another reason why I like my Garand so much too (minimal recoil for 30'06 and retains the sight picture with the peep sights). You can just flat hammer stuff over and over, and quickly, with that thing.

AKElroy...how do you like that new 22? Do you find the stock sturdy enough?

I like the fit of the stock, but it is so light it feels pretty delicate. W/O the cheek piece, it would not fit at all. I will not be able to sight this in until this weekend; making a trip to the lease. I will of course take pics of my 25 yrd target, claim it is my 75 yrd target, and post it forthwith.:)

Yeah, they almost feel like a toy or something, that is the first thing we hear when a customer picks one up! lol hehehe

I like that particular configuration, but the forearm is quite flimsy, however, there is no way that will impede the accuracy since the barrel is 2" above the forearm....

Sweet little rifles....

I gotta say, I have a 2.5-8x Weaver on a pretty much stock 10/22, except for a Power Custom hammer. And I have to say, if you want to have fun going hog-wild, so be it. But I feel like my set up is about perfect--light and handy, compact, with a low-end zoom capable of handling those saber-toothed timber tigers on the move, and enough high-end zoom to find em' in the canopies from a distance. It seems like it is at least as capable as yours but a heckuva lot cheaper. Maybe not as high-tech, but I doubt if I'll be starving any time soon.

Nevertheless, the rifle looks interesting and fun, so congrats on a new purchase.
