I have been wanting an o/u shotgun for bird hunting and training my dogs. I have pretty much set my mind on one of the new CZ/Huglu's in 20 guage.

But today I had a thought. What about an o/u that had a two barrel set. A 12 and a 20 guage. That would be cool. I looked around on the net and found that Franchi had a pretty nice two barrell combo set.

Any other suggestions on guns I should look at that have this option????

Edited to add......... It would be nice to keep it affordable.

The 20ga barrel set attached won't be as lively as a "real" 20ga built on a smaller frame---it will actually be heavier than with the 12ga barrels because all that filler steel with a small hole in the middle.

It will give you another guage to shoot with none of the benefits of a smaller guage gun-------I'd avoid it myself.

My Fellow Parrotfriend have you thought of buying a 12 and just getting The little Skeeter tube inserts I think they run about 40 dollars a pair only hassle I belive is that they auto eject everytime so if you have to reload in a hurry it might be a pain n the ass..

I see what you guys are saying. Most of the o/u shotguns I have looked at weigh equal too or up to a pound less than my Benelli Nova which I am used to carting around. I really never thought about weight being an issue.
