Old Minigunvalt handgun safe

Guys,

I have a rather old Minigunvalt handgun safe. Made in 1997.

Uses 8 AA batteries in a box that fits under the top of the inside of the vault. 4 batteries per side.

I have the keys and new batteries installed but...

How to recode the lock?

It has no 'learn' button on the inside like the newer ones.

So does anyone here know how to recode the keypad?
