Opinions on High Standard Riot 12 Gauge Shotgun

I'm thinking about buying a High Standard Riot 12 Gauge Shotgun from the 1970's-early 1980's. Chambered in 2 3/4" and 7 round capacity (6 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber), Looks like brand new with only one very small nick in the forend. Bluing is excellent $400.00.

Anybody know anything about these shotguns? Is it worth the price? Sounds rather high to me, maybe I'm wrong???
Help me make a decision please.

The price is rather high - that said, I have owned a couple of these guns and they are very nice, and have one of the slickest actions you will find in a pump gun.

$300 to $350 for a nice one.
However, even if you overpay by $100 you will still have a great shotgun worth every penny that you paid.

I got mine from a local LE Gun Dealer selling a bunch of trade-in guns. Paid $125 + it has rifle sights. I love mine, it is one of my HD guns, shoots and functions 100%.
