I took my NIB P9 out this morning and shot off 357 rounds of 9mm. Yes 357 rounds, I had 7 extras CBC factories I wanted to get rid of. This is a 1989 gun so it was interesting to shoot.

The gun shot ok, but was hitting low left. When I cleaned it I saw the rear sight was drifted over so I drifed it back to the center. I am sure this is my right left problem. The big problem is the pistol is hitting real low, like 2 to 3" low at 50 feet. The front sight and rear sight are in dovetails, so I would like to replace them.

Question 1) Who makes P9 dovetailed front/rear sights?

The gun did not have a single failure to feed or fire. It shot reasonably accurate, but I was trying to get used to it. I freely admit I was tossing 5" 50 shot patterns at 50 feet.

Question 2) Who still make accesories and toys for the P9's?

I have a P9ultra (40 S&W cal long slide P9) that I put a briley barrel in it, but this one has a shorter trigger then my P9ultra and I would like to get it replaced.

To bad springfield stopped making these guys! They are sure nicely fitted pistols! Picts to follow in about a week. Football right now!

To my understanding the Springfield P-9s were made by Tanfoglio, makers of the Witness,Baby Eagle,Jerico and others. Sights and goodies for any of them *may* fit. Marcus
