PC Guns MIM or forged

.....must be why so many armed forces of the world and LEAs use 'em, eh? Hi-cap is one advantage, but reliability and function are the others. We are lucky to live in a time where we have a choice, much less so many great choices.

What is more reliable than a revolver?:scrutiny:

What "function"?

What difference is it when others choose differently, other than questioning your own choice?

Fortunately, no one is questioning, i.e. criticizing, what others choose.

Probably a single shot pistol?:scrutiny:

Definition of "function".....i.e. "The action for which a person or thing(as in firearm) is particularly fitted or employed"

I kinda thought that's what this was all about...

I think what the ugly black pistol crowd values most is capacity in the age of spray and pray

....now....what was the original question again?:D

I truly think Performance Center is just models not offered on their base line.

Hand fitted and more attention to detail? I doubt it seriously.

There used to be a difference in quality, dunno nowdays.

Since it has already been determined that modern PC models use MIM, and MIM requires no handfitting of parts, odds are there isn't much handfitting going on. I only own two modern PC models. A PC Compensated Hunter in a X-Frame .460 Mag and a Lew Horton PC Magnum Hunter in a N-Frame .44 Mag. Both have barrel/scope mount configurations different than standard models. Both also have the added ball detent lock up and PC action work done. Both are more accurate than I can ever hope to be and both have triggers that break like glass. The N-Frame also has an unfluted cylinder. Neither was substantially higher priced than the standard models.
