Can anyone tell me something about this rifle? The outside of the barrel is octagonal for about 18 inches then goes to round. The bore is at least 75 cal. The bore is a hex with each flat haveing in its center a half round groove of about 1/8 inch. The barrel is marked P GOOD. I found it at a flea market, the owner said it was British. Since I'm not a gunsmith I can't say it was poorly made but it was at least a very plain rifle. He wanted $400 for it. I passed.
