I have a weird problem with my M&P .40. after every couple hundred rounds, the pin located directly above and to the right of the trigger keeps backing out of the right side of the frame :scrutiny:. I've been simply hammering it back in with a pin punch if it gets too far out. Is this a serious problem that should be looked at by Smith & Wesson, or is it something I can fix at home? or is it even something I should worry about at all?

P.S. This picture shows what I'm talking about, although the pin usually backs out a little more before I hammer it down.

I've never detail stripped the frame. I'm worried that I'll have some little parts left over when I put it back together :)

u can put a drop of crazy glue on tha tpin and then hamer it back int and it willnever do that again, but yet you can still take that pin out with ease. I would not waste my time sending that back to Smith, It is fixable in house..
