Anyone shot or hunted with these bullets? I have 140 gr 7mm SPBT's. It's been a while since I loaded them, and I recall they were accurate enough on paper. I haven't run into anyone who's hunted with them.

There's a thread over in the hunting forum about a guy hunting barbary sheep with the 6.5x55 Prvi ammo. He was very impressed.

I hunt with my 140grn Sierra GameKing reloads in my 6.5x55, and my 139grn Hornady Interlock reloads in my 7x57. However, I've shot a lot of Prvi through targets with both. It is very accurate, powerful, and the brass is excellent. Certainly a lot better than the Winchester or Remington stuff you can buy. Haven't tried Federal in any of them, so I can't speak for it, but you can't beat Prvi for the price.

I have used Prvi 150 gr sp 7.62x54r in my mosin nagant 91/30. No complaints. Accurate enough to hunt deer and casings are good for reloads.

Very happy with the performance of the 6.5x55 ammo. It does a good job of killing the paper but I have not shot an animal with it yet. The brass seems to be very good and it has patterned well despite the fact that my skill level is not so high.

I've never hunted with Prvi but I fired quite a bit of .45acp, 8mm Mauser, 8mm Hungarian, 7.62x38r, and .38S&W Prvi ammo. I've found it to be quite accurate and consistent. I've never had a malfunction or problem with it.

I took a whitetail with Prvi Partisan two years ago, after experiencing light primer strikes with my S&W i-bolt .30-06. The gun has been since repaired by S&W, but when it was firing inconsistently, seems that the primers in Remington Core-Lokt required a harder strike. Prvi Partisan fired reliably every time, possibly because the primers were softer than the Core-Lokt. So I used the Prvi for hunting, and they were fine.

Used the 139gr SP 6.5x55 to take a deer, works really well, meat damage was a little heavy so expect there was some fragmentation but it did go through and through on a quartering shot at close range. I would not hesitate to use again but my handloads shoot MUCH flatter, I bought the Prvi for the brass which is exceptionally good, I was pleasantly surprised that the loaded ammo shoots so well, right around 3/4" off the bench in my Tikka.

I use Prvi Partizan or PPU ammo in my Savage rifle to get the scope dialed in or for cheap target practice. Good little cheap round if you don't mind they are made in Serbia. Haven't hunted with the round since I normally hunt with Fusion, SF or handloads.

Here's Prvi 100gr .243win SP after traveling from behind the last right rib up to the left front shoulder. It was a quartering-away 100yd shot. As you can see, the bullet retained 53.4 grains after it was recovered and rinsed off.

I was surprised when this buck didn't even shudder... I thought i missed! He just kept on trotting off... but it was like Pai Mei's 5-Point-Palm Exploding Heart Technique. 5 steps and ummph.
