I too have a glorious , tang sighted Model 25 Remington in 25-20 . Yes mine is a good 2" at 50 yard gun rested and 4" at 100 yards where it about maxxes out . I cant' think of a better up to small deer gun around a ranch rifle, which was it's purpose. I would rather it be a 32-20 , yes, because I shoot 32-20 in a couple pistols and reload and cast bullets for it. I just bought a 86 grain .25 mold to cast flat nosed bullets .
I had many years a .44-40 Remington 14 1/2 Pump and even longer a 141 & a 14 Remington pump in .35 Remington. I sold them off as I literally had folks shoving money in my face for them as they were pristine . The 14 1/2 sold for almost $2000 10 years ago and the other great .35 pumps, which I adored for hunting went for almost a $1000 since 2018 . They had receiver sights and were great deer and hog slayers to 150 yards.
I too wanted a Timber wolf but missed the boat. When they first came out I was worried they looked junky, but time I found they actually worked well the price had sky rocketed , I settled for my Marlin Carbines in .357 and .44 .
