I just picked up my Saiga IZ-240 (5.45x39 flavor) I plan on installing the RAA skeleton stock to it and adding a scope with side mount. I thinking of getting this side mount http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/mounts...-vepr-centered-side-mount-to-weaver-rail.html and this scope http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/rifle-...zoom-weapon-rifle-scope-w-duplex-reticle.html
I picked the standard height BP-02 mount since I would have the flip-up cheek piece on the stock to compensate for the added mount height but I would also be able to use my iron sights w/o removing the scope. Also, the rifle will be used mainly for inexpensive paper punching out to 300 yards...but most of the time ~100 yards. Thanks in advance for your input!
