Given the price of slugs in these days I was wondering if anybody has any experience reloading shotgun slugs. We’re you successful or did it turn out to be more trouble than it’s worth?
I don’t think I’d be able to make slugs in my apartment complex, that’s why I was considering making sabot slugs so I could use conventional rifle bullets wrapped in a wadding.Yup, and they do really well. I use the Lee 1oz KeyDrive as well. I load in the appropriate hull and wad combo and use a 1oz of shot powder equivalent charge. They are accurate and super cheap (scrounged free wheel weights and free hulls from Skeet range trash cans)
