Me :) I'm the proud owner of a S&W 625 Jerry Miculek revolver in .45 ACP. You should try it at least once ;)
I have a very nice Kimber Custom II that shoots 45ACP really well. I think I'll just stick with that.:) Never have liked moon clips.

That a lot of moon clips ! How many do you have? Have you ever lost any? How much did all of them cost? Sorry for all the questions , I just am looking for info
I have ~150 for my 610, ~100 for the 625, and ~180 for my 627. I have lost only a handful at matches over the year. I lost one and found it two matches later stomped into the bottom of a dried up mud puddle. I have about 20-30 that have been bent. I tend to kick them when doing running reloads and RO's are notorious for stepping on them in tight stages. One of these days that pile will get big enough to justify machining a moonclip straightener. I should be able to save about 80% of those if I had the straightener.

For the 610 and 625 I buy my moonclips from Ranch Products (http://www.ranchproducts.com/index.html). They have always worked well for my rimless guns. They are by far the most economical source if you buy direct and in bulk. Their 627 clips where not tight enough for me so I went with Revolver Supply (http://www.revolversupply.com/) for my 627 clips. Revolver supply and Remington 38 Short Colt brass is a nice combination nearly as nice as TK Custom moonclips and Starline brass. TK Custom is of course the Cadillac of moonclips but a bit too rich for my blood. They are extremely nice, but stepping on them hurts too much, like stepping on a Lego but the pain is in your wallet not your foot.
