Ruger is at it again....

I see no need for a chamber loaded indicator. I see no need for an accessory rail on a compact gun. I personally would never buy it do to the mag disconnect which I would never have on a carry gun. Due to its size the SR9c is only good for that.
In one word here is the reason sr9c has a loaded chamber indicator and a mag disconnect. The word is "California". Ruger pistols are one of the few new pistols that can be added to the safe gun roster to be sold in california. California wants all new guns tested to have both features and they expect the loaded chamber indicator to be BIG which it seems ruger has obliged. California is a huge market and most new guns except revolvers won't qualify to be tested for the roster. Mark

Rugers are fine firearms , i have owned just about every model at one time or another and have never had an issue with any of them. I just recently bought the SR9c and am very impressed with the little pistol .Sometimes recalls happen at least they fix them.
If you want to start a Bashing why don't we use Taurus or Kimber or even Colt every company just mentioned has had issues of some sort come on guys this site needs to grow up

Grow up? Simply because someone points out that 2 of the last 3 pistols they brought to market had to be recalled. I did not see anyone state that there was a perfect company.

You like Ruger which you have attested to. Why can't another member state they do nothing for them?

I agree 100% with railroader CA is a huge part of the equation to putting lawyer devices on new pistols.

This thread is out of control. Let's wait until they reveal what it is before everyone flips out and starts chopping off heads.
