Getting ready to purchase a new Ruger LC9 but I'm looking for some feedback between the Crimson Trace Laserguard and the LaserMax CenterFire. The LC9 comes in both offerings and I'm curious as to any experience (good or bad) any of you have had with either one.

Thanks Chuck

I have both lasers. Two Crimson Trace on a SR9c and on a LC9 and the laser max on my LCP. I much prefer the Crimson Trace as the last post says , grab the gun and it's on. I believe this is best for a CCW weapon. My $.02

Crimson trace always wins because of its ease of use. Just pick it up, apply pressure to the grip and your in business. You can also train yourself to keep the laser off when in the low and ready position. I love mine and will always keep one on any point and shoot device I carry. Good luck.

I have the LC9 LM, and it's easy to use. The switch is ambi, and it's almost difficult to draw the weapon without activating the laser. It's what Bud's had in stock, $50 upgrade from no laser.

Not familiar with the CT offering, but my CT lasergrips on my 1911 have a seperate power switch.

I have the LaserMax on my LCP and LC9. I find it easy to use and very durable. Its a little harder to reach on the LC9 because the gun is larger, but if I had to do it again, Im fine with the LaserMax. Its a well made product, and is reliable.
