Anyone have any experience with the Springfield MC Operator? I'm looking for a 1911 for Limited 10 IPSC (I already own a SA Trophy Match but my son is shooting it). I checked one out the other day and was impressed with the heft of it and how much weight the tactical rail added to the front end. It got me thinking it would be great for keeping the flip down. Plus it just looks so stinking cool.
So...any thoughts would be appreciated. Anyone know a place to get a good deal on one?
I have an XD 40 Service model in OD green I'm going to be selling to help finance it if anyone is interested. Love the gun but its just not what I want for IPSC. In fact its a great gun but alas...I just love a 1911.
