I just got around to shooting my G20 with the 3.5# connector in it.........I think it's terrible. I will be sticking the OEM connector back in when I break down the gun for cleaning later, but here is my question - who has them (Scherer 3.5#) and likes them, or who has them hand hates them.

It just seems very inconsistent; I can't tell when it's going to fire.........no take-up, just a long pull and sudden bang.
The funny thing is, if you go on Midway's site (where I ordered it from) and look at the reviews from folks, and there are lots of 'em, they think these things are the best thing since sliced bread..........am I missing something?

I've tried both factory and aftermarket reduced-weight connectors, but they all work essentially the same way, by reducing the angle that the trigger-bar has to push against in order to cock and release the striker; in other words, you're trading a lighter pull for a longer, "spongier" pull. If you prefer a "crisper" trigger, you have to make it heavier, and polish it (and the trigger-bar) to reduce the friction as they slide against each other.
