You could trade the mini-14 in for a mini-30 and keep ammo commonality. If that is not an option I would probably sell off the two sks for another mini-14. I like the sks but the 14 beats it IMHO with its detectable mag and ergonomics.

Of those, I'd choose the mini-14. It is reliable, potential accuracy issues are a non-factor inside 100 yards, it uses detachable magazines, it is lighter and handier than an SKS, and there are a wider variety of defensive loads available in .223 than 7.62x39mm.
