Shelf Life of Fox OC

Is there a rule of thumb for the effective shelf life of Fox OC. I have a cone pattern flip top that I purchased a while ago (guessing 6+ years) and I was thinking I should probably replace it.

If you think you might need it, why would you not just replace it. Its not wine, it doesn't get better with age.

fox says 2 years max... for 15 bucks just replace it every year. be sure to empty it before you trash it.

I tend to empty the old stuff into a spray bottle with water and dish soap and use it as an insecticide for aphids and other pests on roses and vegetables. Bugs don't like it either.
