Shotgun with Bipod

Good grief!!

Thats sure to appeal to the Mall Ninja crowd though!

Before long, Mossberg will be selling them like that with the truck muffler muzzle attachment that doesn't do anything.

No Country for Old Men with a bipod!
Yea! That's the hot set-up!

Finally! A gun that is suitable for amateurs and posers! Of course this version is for the mall ninja that believes that a pistol gripped butt stock is superior to the PGO poser guns, the Load Hocker and Rolling Blunder.

LOL!

That could be the most ridiculous, un-thought-out thing I have ever seen. I can't believe anyone has actually bid on it!

If that were a dedicated slug-gun for deer you guys would be laughing alot less I think. Many rifle shooters use Bi-Pods without any ridicule at all. The only bad thing I see in that gun is the extra rails, heat shield, flash hider, and flashlight all adding weight to the gun.

Pro: Bi-pod on a slug gun is an awesome idea
Con: So many tacticool items on the gun in addition to the bipod just killed any potential that gun had for hunting.

Also:
mall ninja that believes that a pistol gripped butt stock is superior to the PGO poser guns

Pistol Grip + Full Stock is in fact superior to the PGO gun because it allows the shooter to still mount and fire the weapon properly. I use a pistol grip butstt stock regularly because its easier IMO to pull the gun into my shoulder with the Pistol grip than it is with a regular stock.

I see what you guys are talking about. That is some serious false advertising based on the picture:

Bipod not included for display only

Talk about poser, without the Bipod you lose all the advantages that a bipod mounted pump operated shotgun brings to the fight.

No, I agree that a full stock is far superior to a PGO grip but the mall ninjas tend to think otherwise. As far as a bipod on a shotgun or even a slug gun, what's the point? Are you that shaky that you can't keep your muzzle on a deer 100 yards (or even 200 yards) away without a bipod? Are you as stable as Janet Reno standing on the San Andreas fault line or something? Do I use bipods on rifles? Yup, but then again my shooting with those rifles start at 200 yards and goes out from there and making very small groups, not maybe getting to an optimistic 200 yards with a slug gun and getting sub-standard (by rifle standards) groups. Worst of all junk like this detracts from the shotgun's primary strength in that it is a fast gun to use that provides solid hits at close range. No matter how you want to slice it, defend it or make up off the wall theories to justify something like this, I'm still going to laugh at people like this.:neener:

Actually I have a suggestion, the bipod be remounted off of the pump somehow so you can still run the action.

Also yes I am that shaky sometimes I need a gun rest especially when bracing for slug recoil with a 7 lb gun. Hell I even use a shooting stick with my Crossbow, and shoot benchrest on sandbags with a Ruger 10/22 even at 50 yards, considering that a 12-gauge slug gun weighs much more than either of those other 2 guns, its not a terrible idea. Now I'm not saying its absolutely needed, but every little bit helps.

As I stated before: Bipod+Rifled Slug Barrel=Potential, theres just too much other crap on that gun to make the point relevant.

Hilarious, saw a pgo mossy at a gunshow yesterday with about the same amount of crap on it including the bipod and people were all over the thing!
Go figure

Sorry Zombie, but if your sending 00 buck at anything 150 yards away, a bipod isnt gonna help much. might as well throw rocks.

Yes your right but I think you might have missed the sarcasm in his post, he was obviously laying it on pretty thick.

I've seen pictures of something like that about controlled blowing up bombs with explosiv - slugs , by polnish speznaz.

that has got to be the worst duracoat job I have ever seen. he didn't even bother to mask the trigger group, yet alone pull it out of the reciever. I'll even bet the safety no longer works because its painted in place. of all the tactical garbage on there why couldn't he spring for an extended magazine clamp?

"theres a sucker born every minute"

if it was a automatic then it might be halfway ok, but a bipod mounted on the slide, Wiskey Tango Foxtrot.

Silly mall ninjas have it all wrong...

The bipod is good, it should stay. What they are missing is the bayonet...

That way when you pump the gun, you leave the bipod and forend in place and thrust the barrel with attached bayonet forward. Two zombies with every firing cycle. Every mall ninja's dream...
