I have been shooting 1911's for a long time so I'm used to a good trgger.
I just ordered a Sig P-239. Has anyone had work done on a Sig trigger?
Just curious.
Thanks.
I have a Sig P229 I've had for many years and LOVE to shoot it. Recently I invested in a couple of Wilson Combats and they have really spoiled me with the sweet actions they have. I've considered sending my Sig to TJ's which is supposed to be THE Sig customizer to make to shoot a little more like the single action of my Wilsons. I've heard he isn't cheap but does excellent work.
Secondly, have you shot the SIG yet? Don't start looking for 'fixes' before you try it first. You might be surprised. If not, I believe SIG offers factory trigger work. It may be worth looking into.
My brother just recently converted his DA Sig229 into a SA/DA. The single action is so sweet. As smooth as butter! Very little take up and the a very smooth break.
