Sigma Enigma

I made a car gun from one of your Sigma's with the reassurance that if someone breaks in our car and steals it, I doubt they'll try to commit a crime with it after the experience the trigger.

BA DA BOOOM!

Thank'ya folks, I'll be here all week.:D

Whey did you but 6 of the same gun!!
Think at one time I had 5 or 6 of 'em also.
Back when I had 'em, they were giving rebates/discount certificates and free luggage (range bags, duffles, etc). Every time I needed another piece of luggage, I'd buy another Sigma! :what: Back then they were cheaper than now, and with a $25 rebate and a free piece of luggage...?

Built a nice little collection of various sized bags-over the years I finally managed to rid myself of all but one, which was my bed gun for 12+ years until recently being replaced with a SIG SP2022. Main reason for replacing was the night sights need replacing (applied that money towards the SIG), the SIG's picatinny rail (TLR-2s fits), and the SIG makes for great/easy dry fire practice in DA.

I never had a problem with 'em, specially the 'E' models (Enhanced). Everybody I sold 'em to seemed to be pleased with 'em, and although most were new or new to larger calibers for SD/home guns, they could all manage to hit the targets just fine without all the whining 'bout the trigger. 'Course, most of 'em learned how to shoot with DA revolvers.
Mebbe there's a lesson for new shooters in there? :D

BTW-as my first polymer gun, I tried both the Sigma and the Glock-did a lot of research on both of 'em, and their were various reasons (perfection aside :uhoh:) to pick the Sigma-the grip angle of the Sigma sealed the deal.

They're inexpensive, dependable, & has a standard capacity of 16 to 14 plus 1 depending on the model.

They're great pistols for the disaster pack. They're also good for tossing into the bottom of the trunk with a few mags and a holster for the chance that your car breaks down somewhere not very nice and your EDC is a mouse-gun. The others could be shooters.

My personal belief is that everyone should have several copies of the same weapon so that one is, shall we say, accurate when the moment depends on it.

Just a question Doc540,
Whey did you but 6 of the same gun!!
Are you arming the neighborhood?

I have an SW9F with more than 20K rounds through it. went back to Smith a couple of years back to fix a broken trigger spring. Only problem the pistol ever had. Thing runs like a champ.

I really wish I could a good supply of used ones. Every one around here tries to sell em for 400 when I can pick em up for 320 - rebate at Academy's.

I guess my wife's phenomenon of the striker sleeve sticking and not completely striking the primer wasn't a weird thing then. Other than welding the striker catch higher and then gettting a metal tub instead of the plastic one for the striker, it's a flawless operation now. 9mm sigma, 16 round mags.
