IDIOT X 2

the PRE ban AR I sold when I was 21.....

worse, the 2nd PRE ban AR I had to sell a couple years back due to economic issues....

*sigh*
:cuss:

S&W model 13 3in it was stolen with other more "valuable" guns. but there was somthing special about this one. I was able to make hits with it all out of relation to its size. I really want another but I am afraid that the replacement may disappoint.

The first 1886 Winchester I had, it was rebored from 40-65 to 45-70, so had a new bore, and a heavy barrel, extra fancy grade wood.

Colt 3rd gen SAA 44 spl Nickel 4 3/4"

Winchester 1886, 33 Win cal, 24" round light barrel, full mag, shotgun butt, straight grip.

Smith 29 6 1/2" nickel. First 29 I had.

Smtih 29 4 screw 6 1/2"

Colt 1911 made in 1917

Oh well.

It was never mine to begin with...

but it could have been if my father didn't say, "No." I wanted a 12 pdr Napoleon cannon that was at the antique store back around '68. It was only $119.95 and as a third grader, I had the money. My pop did not consent. Today, the barrel would be worth $35k. :what: At least that's what a reenactor told me last weekend.

My granfather gave me a gun when I was a kid and it was stolen from my house. It was a single shot bolt action .22. I was very young and not sure of the model. I know it was a Remington and I think it was a Model 41. It had a lot of sentimental value to me. I will buy one if I ever see one for sale.

For sentimetal reason: A Remington 870 Express that, when I was young, I used to take out hunting with an Uncle of mine that passed away a few years ago.

An original 1950's pre-dealer sample AR-10. I sold it for $2500 with 5 mags. Each mag was worth $100. The gun today is worth around 8k. I was broke at the time, and wasn't into collecting, just turning them over.

I traded off a ruger MkII 678 Gvt

...for a portion of a 28 ga. 870. (I included a mauser 98 and a lever 3030 in the trade).

I'd like to still have the .22, but couldn't give up the 28 for it. It's my daughter's gun.

"Daddy, let's go bust some rocks"

My Beretta 96D .40S&W custom...

I bought a sweet 96D .40S&W in 1997. It was a LE surplus weapon, NIB. The 96D had a RoBar NP3 coating, plated mags, night sights, rubber grips and an extended ported barrel. :D

I was forced to sell this pistol due to money problems and I now regret it. The 96D did not have a 1913/tactical rail like today's duty pistols but it was a great weapon that worked 100% with factory .40 loads.

I used the big Beretta for home protection/concealed carry. It was a MFer to carry sometimes but I got use to it.

Greed got me;

In 1985 I bought a Daewoo K-2 in 5.56, folding stock, bayo lug, flash hider/compensator and all for $329. Ten years later I took it to a gun show and was hardly in the door when I had $1500.00 in hand and no K-2. I really wish I hadn't done that.
