Something about nice wood and blued steel.

^^^ I like.

I'm also a fan of wood and blued steel shotguns. And shorter barrels.
1954 Auto-5
1952 Model 37
1966 Model 37 (with earlier model stock and forearm)
1950 Model 37 (wood has since been refinished and barrel shortened to the same length as the Auto-5)

My Browning Auto-5 Magnum made in 1988 and Remington Model 870 Trap Grade B made in 1971. Never fired... I'm going to have to correct that.
I'm going down south and hoping to find a shop with a nice used selection, I have an 870TB as well but I'm hoping I can find another in really good shape. I'll be down there for around 5 days, hope to find something good, it will be blued steel and wood if it's anything. Nice smoke poles ya got there......

I'm a fan of walnut and blued steel myself. Here are a couple pre-war Winchesters to prove it:

From top to bottom are: Model 1897 12ga, built 1914, Model 12 12g built 1918/27, Model 12 "poor man's skeet" 12ga built 1940, and Model 12 16ga, built 1941. Ma's 1922 Model 12 20ga isn't in the picture for some reason.
