SR9 Failure

The FPB would had to fail completely on his gun....rendering it slam fire happy...should have gone full auto on him if his story is even 1/2 true! IMO.

I was thinking the same thing, how did it slam fire on the first round and then fix itself for the consecutive rounds?
I'm not saying it's not possible, I just do not understand.

Don't think he will get his gun back, cause he probably never sent it. It appears to be a fake problem that he made up to flame the ruger sr9 for some unknown reason.

For all the Ruger bashing going on in this thread all I can say is Rugers are like Glocks...you either love them or hate them. I happen to like both. If Rugers are crap then so are Glocks, Sigs, HK, S&W, XD etc. etc. They are all quality guns that appeal to different markets. Look at the sales figures. If Rugers are crap why do people keep buying them.

An op only posting once in no way implies his tale of woe is false.
Plenty of customers who feel they've been screwed, or purchased highly defective merchandise feel the need and responsibility to warn other's of the experience they've had. And many of you greet that with howls of derision? Just who's being honest here? Believe it or not, most folks who get the lemmon, don't serve lemonade, even though thats what company's like Ruger would have you believe! I, like this op, posted an incredibly negative experience on another web site dedicated to nothing but Ruger firearms just to make sure the message got out to the heart of Rugerdom about several glaring defects on one of there new gems!
And slam fires can and do happen all the time without resulting in a full-auto burst.....

His first sentence is false so why should we believe anything else the OP says? This was his first and only post. He has never posted a thread offering a trade on an SR9.

OK, here's a reality check: The guy posts a slam on a new gun which contains factual errors (he did not in fact post anything else in this forum, certainly not an offer to trade) and in 22 days/60 responses he never posts again... not to this thread or any other on THR.

That's not being new. That's someone using a throw-away ID to troll.

I'm sorry if you've had bad experiences on this forum. I neither caused nor contributed to any of these experiences. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you didn't take your frustrations out on me.

I'm here to learn. To ask questions. To pass on what relatively limited knowledge I have. That's the only reason I visit this forum. You'll find some people who abuse the anonymity of the internet and post whatever hateful things they wish. The large majority of people on here, which I believe I am a part of, do not fall into that category. Please don't try to imply that I do.
