I am trying to rebuild a Stevens Mdl 70 Visible Loading rifle. I managed to get a-hold of another "parts" gun so I could rob the parts I needed. One is missing from the both. On the right side of the gun's receiver, the lowest, most forward screw hole is empty on both guns. What part did this screw hold in place? Looking at Numrich's diagram of parts, it may be the hammer lock and spring assembly and/or the locking cam. Anyone know for sure?
