Is that sitting on an open turkey sandwich?
...an open face taurus on rye...had that for lunch yesterday. :)

On a contributory note.....I've owned 6 M85's over the years and I can recommend them highly....the 3" and SS UL are among my favorites.

that front sight isnt stock is it?

No, I liked it so much I had it personalized. That silver sight sux in bright light and I wanted a gold elevation wire for long range and light loads. I had it installed for about 80 bucks. Also allows spot on windage adjustment. I think ALL snubbies ought to have dove tailed front sights, black, especially stainless ones.:D

Posts: 331 my girlfriend is in here at the time looking with me and she wants one like this.

I have that one and love it. My wife has the exact same thing, but with pearl handles. Between us, we have 4 Taurus revolvers: the 2 85's, my 605, and just today she got a 410 Judge.

Taurus has worked well for us.

Dang I need my camera back! I picked one up for Mrs. .45 on Valentines day. She absolutely loves the thing! I think we went through 150 rounds the first day.

I had one for a few weeks and it was comfortable to shoot except for the trigger. It handled 125gr. Remington's and Hornady's pretty good. I sold it. I guess I am spoiled on those smooth broken in S&W triggers!;)

I have a 85CH , it shares my 'quick toss in he pocket' duty with my Makarov . Spent a day shooting 100 rounds through it , quite accurate but the trigger edges were hard on my finger .

see range photo

Mine also does not shoot +P. Although I have been shooting them for about the past 50 rounds because I didn't know. Then I called Taurus to check.

Anyways, with +P and Crimson Trace grip the attached photo shows the power of Crimson.

I shot five times, one from 7, 25, 35, and two from 15 yards.

Hey Doggy Daddy
Let us know what you think of the Judge

Wow, forgot about this thread.

Well SO, if you're following this, we like the Judge just fine. I was a bit concerned cuz the wifey has a bit of a carpal tunnel condition, so we weren't sure how she'd handle the recoil. We were worried for nothing. We haven't fired any shotshells yet, but the .45s went real smooth. She was even able to handle it one-handed, and off hand one-handed.

It also makes a very satisfying "bang!"
