I recently bought a Taurus millennium pro 9mm and after about 600 hundred rounds the spring is wedged in the slide. It happened a few times and proceeded to get worse and now I can’t remove it. Does any one know about this problem? Is the gun out of Spec or is just because it’s a Taurus. Can anyone help

you can try and see if taurus will fix it.
Let us know how that works out.
good luck man.

Wow, bad luck that. I would return it to the dealer if possible. That just should not happen.

best photo of spring assembly blow throw ive seen. What you have experienced is a common issue with a specific generation of 4 or 5 models of Taurus semi autos.

The problem occurs hwen the plug holding the spring in, wears down and blows through the front of the slide. the factory fix is a new slide, and a new spring assembly which is a washer placed between slide and the spring assembly.

Since you have the issue, call taurus up and see what happens. So far its beens a return to factory thing.
However you could probably put a washer in yourself at the moment and be ok short term till you can get in contact with taurus.
however if the spring is still IN the slide like the photo, leave it that way.
