Taurus Model 617 ??

Looks like my GF has settled on the Taurus stainless 617. Any of you have comments about this seven-shot revolver?

I had one for a short time and had absolutely no problem with it whatsoever. I especially liked the grip that covered the backstrap.....very comfortable. It's a bit heavy for a concealed carry piece. Best, John

I have one in my front pocket right now. I am rather large (6'2" 250lbs.), so CCW'ing a larger pistol is not much of a problem. Mine has been reliable, accurate, and it seems to have a very nice trigger. I highly recommend. I should also mention, it was my first Taurus, but probably not my last!

I'm a semi-auto guy at heart. Only carried a revolver in the old days
because i was forced to.

Like some women and even men . My GF finds the revolver to simple and reliable. Really can't argue with that. Better for her to shoot a gun she is
comfortable and confident with, than a CZ that she dislikes.
