The Anatomy of Gun Control
You can see it in every gun control ordinance and law
January 11, 2007

Also available at: http://calnra.com/caspecial/anatomy.shtml

The Anatomy of Gun Control - you can find it in every piece of legislation that blames inanimate objects and restricts the rights of the law-abiding American while ignoring the real problem. I believe one can find it in every bill or ordinance that the anti-gun lobby slides through California city councils, county boards and the state legislature. The Anatomy of Gun Control exposes itself in the light of day, if you take the time to look.

So I thought I'd take a current piece of lawmaking and illustrate by examining the very goings-on of a major California legislative body. A few weeks ago, I was forwarded a link to an online video, that of the Sacramento city council on December 5th of last year (just over a month at the moment I write this). Sacramento is in the early stages of considering 8 different gun control measures (watch the video).

If I'm right, it didn't matter what the gun control issue was. Where gun control is being successfully foisted on California citizens, there is sure to be an unholy collboration between gun-control groups and your elected representatives, underway long before any public meetings are held. One can easily find plenty of evidence of the Anatomy of Gun Control in such situations if one only takes the time to look.

Did I find that evidence? Of course, the viewer is the judge and I defer to Your Honor. Please visit:

The one thing I found funny was that the woman from LVAC slipped and actually said that there was no enforcement , or little enforcement of current laws . So the cure is to make new laws/ ordinances? Wish more people would get a little more involved in what their officials are doing as their reps . To many squawk after the fact rather than taking an interest in what is going on within their own gov be it local or national .

I have a cartoon image in my head of shipping all of those libby's who feel this way into buses bound for Cali and using a handsaw (hope they won't take that away from me now) to seperate the Repulik of California, and setting it adrift in the Pacific.

Think about it, less border to have to protect, no more goofy politicians from that whacky state, Hollywood would be gone... I'm really not seeing the downside here.

Sickening. The fact that they want to deprive fellow citizens of their inalienable rights as guaranteed in the Bill of Rights proves that the Liberals are NOT the loyal opposition.

Just thought I'd refresh (bump!) this thread with the release of my second video for California NRA...
What would PLEASE Senator Jack Scott?

(Apologies to those who have seen it already.)

Many thanks to NRA Board Member Joel Friedman for helping me fine-tune the wording. (More "punch" in fewer words.) Now there's a man that hates what happened in New Orleans... I think he was talking through gritted teeth the whole time we discussed the video! You should have heard him when he previewed the final product.

BTW, voting NRA members, he's up for re-election next year. (AND being from CA, take it from me, the guy despises AW Bans too! :)

BTW, Californians, AB 1645 is on the governor's desk; we want him to sign it. It's an NRA-sponsored bill to prevent gun confiscations during declared emergencies...

Mike good clips. The first one was a great example of how these things happen.
Good job getting them up on youtube, thats where we need more of these as well as some good speakers to shoot down the anti hog wash.
