TBL - I learned a new word from your post, as well as a bit about gun laws I hadn't known before. Thank you!

The Assize has been mentioned on THR, but it has been a few years and I'm
not sure that anyone ever posted a link to the entire text. I think it forms a
good legal basis for all of us.
 
Interesting information, but the author's inability to properly compose paragraphs is distracting. Lack of paragraph structure will make anyone's writing appear to be random collection of thoughts that aren't well developed. They're good thoughts, and "Fabius" appears to be fairly intelligent, but his writing would be much more effective with some constructive editing.
