I'm stuck on business TDY for the next 2 weeks (I've been here 2 weeks already). Today my wife calls and tells me my C&R license came in. On top of that, I received some unexpected windfall cash as well. Good thing I'm not at home, otherwise that cash would be gone. I'm eating sandwiches everyday on the trip, saving my per diem for some "future purchases"

That means that you've received an unexpected windfall of time. You can use it to list your priorities, doublecheck your list of suppliers and sketch out your long term plans.
Or something like that. Sux to be separated from the paperwork that you need, when there are neat old guns out there with your name on them.
