Some dummy has someone spray him with a can of fox 5.3! People are really hung up on the shu #, thats not the deciding factor as to how hot a spray really is (fox is a medium strength spray at best)! Sabre red, LE-10 and several others have double the capsinoids of fox.

Anyone with the presence of mind to find the water buckets after being sprayed would seem to still be moderately functional. In an attack the OC would not have disabled the attacker, but if you fled while the attacker couldn't effectively see to persue the OC would have served it's purpose in allowing you to escape. I'd still prefer to have a chemical agent disable the attacker so that my escape would be assured.

Wow, I would NOT trust pepper spray after that. Not that I'd have trusted it in a life or death situation but I would have expected more.

If your responding to a lethal weapon with a non or less lethal weapon, your probably screwed anyway. At least the pepper spray gives you more of a chance against a weapon than you have with out the pepper spray. Never take a knife to a gunfight.

I was impressed that it will do what it claims to do. It shouldn't be used against a lethal threat, like was mentioned above.

For what I carry/use pepper spray for, I think the Fox Labs did a great job. That guy was unable to defend himself, from my point of view.
