The ONLY way there will ever be an aluminum bat in my house will be if Count Dracula gets stuck in an empty soda can.

When my kids were going through little league they had wooden bats, much to the dismay of the coach.

I keep forgetting to take pics of the "improved" M17S. After goobering up the torsion nuts I've replaced them with a JP Customs Recoil Eliminator, added a 3-9 power scope for range fun, a light mount for my M3, and a 30mm dot sight for the close in work. Sure, it weights a ton but it just needs to sit by the bed ;) Pictures tonight if I happen to remember.

I keep this locked in the nightstand stoked with 230g Golden Sabers...

If I had a way to secure a fully loaded AR-15, I would prefer that.

A 4" stainless Taurus 441 hangs from the bedpost, a bolt action Savage
12 gauge by the book shelf and a 10-22 mag in the broom closet. All loaded
and ready to go.

First line of defense, see attached.

Second, 870.

Third, Kahr p9.

Fourth, Ruger Blackhawk in 357.

Fifth, "Big Red" baseball bat.

Sixth, nasty screeching biting parrot.

Seventh, a can of hair spray and a lighter.

Eighth, a bad case of PMS and a b*ch slap.

I use an AR-15 A2 with a collapsable(?spelling?) stock, a Sure Fire on the fore end and 30 rds of Remington PSP's. My secondary is my Benelli Nova loaded with 3 1/2 in 00 buckshot.:D

I always thought the coolest home defense weapon would be one of these (Add a mounted surefire light and you're ready to go!):

...don't want to wake up the kids at 3am - they can get a might grumpy if they don't get their rest... :)

(plus just think of the tactical advantage if there are more BG's in the house...)

I use my CCW firearms.

From "life experiences" , I am more concerned about entering, leaving or answering the door.

Everythng else is kept off - site....some exceptions do occur. If someone decides to break- in tonight, I just happen to have two Stock 870's loaded up with slugs, and a Model 94 30-30 loaded up with 170 grainers. They came to visit , be tested and need to be delivered when I'm through playing...err...testing. :)

Yeah - I only use slugs in shotguns. That too is from life experinces....I might have to go answer an alarm or babysit a home or business.

First Line: SKS in the bedroom closet or FAL in the office closet (depending on where I am in the house)

Second Line: M44 inside the fusebox cabinet by the front door

Third Line: AK permantely stationed in the car

As soon as I put my AR together i'll leave that next to my bed, with a mag full of frangibles sitting next to it.

Out of the things listed here, #1 and #8 scare me the most...
