What is the lightest 38 Special load?

great info here. im no recoil junky so only shoot magtech’s cbc shorts and any wadcutters out of lightweight 38sp revolvers. until someone makes pistol rounds that stop a threat with near miss concusive shock waves or proximity burst shrapnel i prefer any soft shooting ammo that i can actually and consistently put on a target from the first round onwards.
 
The m41 38spl cartridge was a 130gr bullet flung at 725fps. It was used in the ultra lightweight Colt and SW Aircrewman revolvers made in the early 50s. The reason was two fold-one, the cylinders were aluminum, second, the loaded pistol weighed 11oz!

These loads were safe in the weak aluminum cylinders, where a normal 38spl would have blown them apart
