Yeah I know, that's a sweet looking rifle. When I got my m14s that gun wasn't around but still it lacks a few things IMHO:
- Too heavy (don't have the numbers in my head but I think so)
- Too many small parts and springs
- Requires tools for breakdown
- Complex innards (getting the bolt out of my dads BAR takes 5+ minutes, getting the bolt out of my m14s takes less than ten seconds, I've timed it)
- No interchangable calibers
Great rifle but not quite what I'm looking for. I want the weight, durability, low maintenance and modularity of the XCR-m/Massoud/mk17 SCAR/hk417 in the same package as the hk770/browning BAR/ruger mkII.
