Hey guys! Recently got bitten by an ak bug and dont know if I can get over it! lol So im looking for a wasr 10/63 but would like to see what im buying in person. (function check mag wobble etc.) So the delimma is, The gun show that comes twice a year decides to roll up this weekend when im short on cash... So should i sell one of my prized possesions to fuel this urge, or wait till this october when they've gone up to 500? Any advice is appreciated! :banghead: :fire: -Chris-

Wait, or buy one used that you can get a good honest description of.

Or, my preference--and since it will be said anyway--get a Saiga and convert. Guaranteed quality, better construction and parts, and you put what parts you want on it. Plus, the same price or only very slightly more.

Depends how "Prized" the other guns are. I bought my 1st ak by selling off misc. guns that I really dont miss. I did not, sell anything that I had growing up or any of my more valuable rifles.

If you would hate to part with something, I would wait.

On the AKs. I have a WASR 10/63 these are the more recent century wasr offerings and I believe they have corrected the problems with them. They are a fine entry level AK. Certainly there are nicer ones, but the gap is much smaller now, and perhaps not worth nearly doubling the price.

My WASRs have a small amount of mag wobble due to the welded shims in the mag well. Neither have canted sights, and the trigger group is the tapco G2 trigger group. I believe these are good, decent civilian Ak Rifles.

Thanks guys! I would like to wait a little while and try to find one on sale at a shop somewhere on sale, but on second thought how have your experiences been ordering the ebr from the intarwebz? -chris-
