Yeah, my 5 year old got some Lego train set (and other Lego sets), and I now feel firearms, or anything really, should cost more than they do. Or Legos are a rip off.
Hours of putting them together, 5 seconds later - total destruction. Too early for a cocktail?

I don't think legos are a rip-off, as a kid I loved Legos, but also erector sets and anything else that allowed you to build things......probably had some effect on me as I went into the architecture field.

My fiancee got us both memberships to the indoor shooting range. Woohoo! I also got two boxes of inexpensive #5 shotshells. Any time I get functioning ammo for free I'm a happy man.

I finally broke my fmaily into buying gun things for Christmas (My mother, whos lived in FL since 1996) finally broke that anti-gun NY mentality and doesn't necessarily see guns as purely evil anymore. After her house got robbed and they decided I am right and they need one.

My wife was never terribly anti gun but was not accustomed to them. Anyway.....She broke down and got me a Magpul back up sight for my AR pistol that comes in next week and will eventually become an AR SBR when I get the paperwork I sent off last week back.

She also bought me Ameriglo gun sights for my suppressed Glock.

Sunday I went to Cabela's and decided to get myself some gifts for Christmas, afterall I had been a very good boy this year. Stopped all the drinking and womanizing, got back together with my ex, played good little house hubby... So after a 4-hour-long purchase process, merry Xmas to me!!!

I got, among other things, a pocket watch. My wife, a book she's been wanting, but wouldn't spend the money on. Electronics for the kids, chocolates for everybody. A mossy rimfire for my son's first Appleseed (and occasional range dates for me and Mrs Tex).

The two little boys across the street have had bikes with training wheels for a while; seems someone finally got them helmets and knee/elbow pads. Had the joy of seeing them in the street all morning with their granddad proudly shouting "go! go! goooo!".

I'm working over this blessed Holiday. And my family came home early to spend Christmas with me! I received a few things...new tape measure, new hunting hat, and a cool t-shirt.

Then i made a garlic and herb encrusted prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, bacon and garlic green beans, and steamed broccoli. Looks like I also got a food coma in 3...2...1.

My fiancee got me a 2 year NRA membership (new member!), 2 Don't Tread on Me stickers, a sticker of a silhouetted babe holding an AR-15, and a Don't Tread on Me long-sleeved tee! And she's a Democrat!

Her parents got me the F.A.T. (Firearm accurizing torque) wrench so I can torque my marlin 60 to the same specs every time I break it down for cleaning!!
