What's your "always buy" gun?

A 788 Remington in 6mm Rem, 7-08 or .308

Any left hand Savage in long action.

Any Ruger Speed Six or old model Blackhawk

For me, it depends on the funds I have available, obviously.

But I'm always on the lookout for a nice S&W k-frame, specifically Models 64, 65, 13 or 10 with a 3" barrel and round butt. I have one (M13) already and it's SO nice that I'd pick up another if the opportunity arose at the right price.

Any stainless or blued .357 by S&W. I own three Smiths, now, and had a forth. They have all been great. The forth went away because it was a scandium jframe that I stopped carrying when I got a Springfield XDs.

If I didn't shoot the Springfield so much better, I would have kept the little bugger.

Any military surplus rifle in decent shape. If I see one for a great price and don't buy it immediately, it bothers me until I go back and purchase it. I can't tell you how I feel if I get back to the store and the rifle is gone... :cuss: :banghead:

Colt revolvers

also .32 Colt and SW - I like the .32 calibers for some reason.

SIGs

WWI pistols

20 ga American doubles

None really anymore. At one time I had a list with pricing that if I found one of them within my pricing constraints, I'd always buy. Now.... not so much.

Any 2nd or 3rd gen Smith and Wesson. If I could find a 1006 or and 645, reasonably priced, I'd be on that in a heartbeat. But really, any of their old auto-loaders would be worth grabbing.

Pretty much anything from Ruger.

I love their revolvers, from the old Six series, to single actions, to the LCR. And I have/will have representations from almost each one of those product lines.
I bet my life on an LCP as my backup gun nearly every day.

I want one of their 1911's, a 77/357, an American, etc... etc...

Pretty much anything they make, I would buy. I have a major crush on them.

I would always buy anything in the M&P line, Glock, or XD.

Also SKS, Mosin, and a Colt AR15. (if funds allow)

Nothing terribly original from me. I like most anything made by Colt, and I have a hard time turning them away. I also have a liking for S&W revolvers and a weakness for older German/Euro guns. HK P7/P9, Walther PP, PPK, P88 or P5, most any Sig if its a decent price...

for me it would be a mint or new in box marlin 883 or 983. tube fed bolt action 22mag. blued steel and walnut stock. been looking for one for a few months but haven't had any luck.

If I've got the cash, and it's a good deal on a quality firearm, I'm bullish.

I avoid the 'junk' guns, like most of you, the extremely low end garbage like the Lorcin Jennings, low end hunting rifles, and the like...

But anything quality and/or historical and I'm interested.

Lost track of the great deals I've come across...
