always wanted to shoot a black powder revolver. but of the guns i have shot, i think my 45 acp is the most fun to shoot. it has enough recoil that i can tell i am shooting something real (unlike a 22 rimfire), but not so much (like my big rifles) that i come home sore enough that i dont want to shoot again for a few days.
That is a tough one. If I just want to send some lead down range or if I want to really try and improve my marksmanship I like my M1A. But shooting a Walker Colt with 60 grains of black powder puts a big smile on my face once I get it loaded.
I can tell you that my AR-15 and my CZ 452 are two guns that have never been left behind for a range trip since I purchased each one. Everything else is mix and match for range day, those two have their dedicated two gun case.
