So does some Cabela employees here in Missouri. There was a case here where a husband and wife went to their store. The husband seems to be a true blue American guy, born and bred (so he said); the wife came from another country. Anyway the woman, being a legal immigrant but still waiting another few months to apply for citizenship, had already bought two guns for herself. There was a bit of a problem about her buying a gun though -- with papers, what the requirements were. They went to Cabela's and she decided to buy a gun then and there. She has proper IDs apart from a bill she had paid in the last 3/4 months (it is one of the requirements...) So of course before the sale can be settled, they have to go home, get a bill and then come back to the store to show it and perhaps, maybe the background check will then be completed and they can go home -- that day!
Anyway, with the sales rep not knowing their situation, he asked them to go to the line by the gun checkout. When the woman who was doing the checking came back, the couple realized what was wrong, so HE asked the woman to cancel the order and he will just pay for the gun with his own credit card instead. You see they did not expect to buy a gun that day, they just decided right then and there and they live far from that Cabela's store. They use the same credit card company, each has the same copy of each other's credit cards in their own names. What is so hard about cancelling the order and the husband paying for it with his copy of her credit card? No one would know as they had not been to the checkout yet for anyone to buy anything yet at that stage... He argued with the woman and ended up telling the woman to stick it to wherever. Cabela just lost a sale then...
