Ok this is pretty simple for me

1. Remington 870 -$250
2. S&W Body Guard .380 -$350
3. Cheap Save .308Rifle $400

and, a little money for ammo

I'd split it between: several cases of bulk .22, split the rest on pistol and rifle centerfire.

otherwise substitute training, or a really nice RDS.
