I'll skip the RPKS, MG42, and UMP45, as I usually impose strict realism, even in daydreams. For me:

Italian-manufacture Beretta 92G (decocker only). Or, really, any Italian 92.

HK VP70z.

HK P7, old or new.

SIG-SAUER P228.

Walther P88.

Just the right Colt 1911, Series 70 or earlier.

So, my dreams are relatively humble.

1. The second 45 acp Luger for the 1911 army pistol tests.

2. Any one of the Colt 1911 hand built by the master himself for the 1911 army pistol tests.

Fast forward to today.

A Yost custom Springfield Operator or a NightHawk Vickers Tactical with light rail.

Too many good ones to pass up, but these are what came to me first.
