Hey everyone,
I must tell you I've now been denied twice by NICS in trying to purchase an AR 15 lower. I've called NICS well over 100 times to talk with someone and they are not taking calls. I first appealed to NICS and again denied. I tried again by sending in all my certified court records and rolled fingerprints. My SSN was also provided. A week or so later I got the same denial verbatim to the first letter. (Basically stating that i had been convicted of a felo y) Background: In May this year I was arrested on a misdemeanor Obstructing an Officer as well as a Felony Assault on a Police Officer. Over the course of a few months, the DA dismissed all charges and my record has been completely expunged. My 2nd appeal was not done until the expungement was cleared and with nothing on my record now. All clear.
I've called the ATF as well as the FBI and only get a recorded message and no human to talk to.
Is there ANYONE who can tell me how to get my gun rights back?? I'm out of options other than getting my attorney involved. Thank you to Everyone.
