K6 owners are you happy with your purchase?

I saw one at the LGS yesterday. Very nice. The salesman asked if I wanted to take it home, but I told him that I like sleeping in the same bed as my wife. Didn't think that I could hide an $800 purchase.

I have has mine for a couple of months and after one week of shooting it I gave half of my J-frames to my kids and the others sit in the back of my safe awaiting a decision of sell or not.
Kimber makes the gun. The trigger is long and extremely smooth, you will not need to do a trigger job on this gun. There are no MIM parts or a lock. It may or may not fit in your 640 ish holster (trigger guard is a bit larger), mine fit fine. Six shots a big plus. Nice sights, big plus.
Overall I carry mine every day and see no negatives with this firearm. Remember, we all love our new guns until the next "new" one comes along.
Size compared to SP101 3" and a 640Pro.

Thanks for the size comparison photo; I was wondering if it was about like a 640, which it appears to be.

I am very happy with mine. Fits in my simply rugged pa cake holster and carries well. I find it to be very size efficient for 6 rounds. My 340pd is lighter and smaller, but this gun makes for a great belt carry gun. I did not find 357 to be unpleasant. Accurate and a great range gun as well.

I couldn't be happier with mine, and I'm thinking of getting one more as an investment, these are just quality built guns, I also have S&W 640 Pro , 642 Air weight, 686 plus Talo, and Ruger SP101 Talo...

I would be tempted to buy one if it had a 2.5-2.75 " barrel.
I would likely carry on my belt and would prefer at least a 2.5 " and a full length ejector for 38 SPL cases.

I found another Kimber K6S today at my LGS, the same one I bought my first one from for $899.00, only this time the price has gone down to $699.00, so I bought it, and will keep it as an investment or maybe not, and put both to use, I'm totally sold on these little revolvers, the quality that Kimber has put into these keeps me smiling...

There are a few complaints about the price as you know already but I believe the quality is on par with the S&W performance center which would mean if you think the price is right for those revolvers then you shouldn't think twice about the Kimber. They are going for 699 to 779 depending on the shop you walk into.

Nice video, well done and touched on important points, I have these guns except for the Quigly it was nice to see the comparisons ...

I'm extremely pleased with mine. I painted the front sight orange, as the black on black wasn't easy to pick up on a dark background. I've got 600 rounds through it and it's got a sweet trigger. Just got crimson trace grips for it, but something about the way I grip it keeps me from activating the laser sometimes so I'll be sending it back.

The galco combat master that fits the sp101 2.25 inch is a perfect fit for it and the desantis nemesis for j frames is a perfect fit for a pocket holster

I'm going to paint mine also, I did this with my Ruger LCR's when they first came out, it helps a lot in sighting your target.

I got one around 2 weeks ago and love it. The trigger is smooth and steady enough to allow you to stage it. Doesn't feel like the 9lb + pull it's advertised to be.
I got one of the ones with 3 dot sights, and between those and my new cataract free eyes I'm a happy camper.
